Previously, there were reports that these two Barretto sisters, Claudine and Gretchen will do a teleserye together wherein they will play as a rival sister. But this plan didn't prosper when Claudine Barretto transferred to GMA-7. The role intended for Claudine was now transferred to Bea Alonzo. And this Bea-Gretchen teleserye was now named as "Magkaribal"!But, the supposed to be rivalry of Claudine and Gretchen will take place this coming Saturday night. And it was not a rivalry in the TV series but a rivalry in a real-life game since this Saturday, the Gretchen Barretto episode of MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya) will be pitted against the pilot episode of Claudine Barreto's drama anthology in the Kapuso network entitled "Claudine"!
Therefore, it will be a battle between two Barretto's sister! Who will win? Who will loose the rating race?!
Besides, Gretchen Barretto made a controversial walk-out in one of her interviews when the press people asked for this possible siblings rivalry this Saturday. According to her, "ayaw niyang pinagtatapat sila dahil kapatid nya pa din 'yun..."!
