GMA-7 including its subsidiaries like QTV-11, received 17 trophies at the recently concluded 32nd Catholic Mass Media Awards.

To give you a very brief information about the Catholic Mass Media Awards, according to starmometer.com and kapamilyalogy.com, the CMMA, which began in 1978, is an annual event in honor of media practitioners “for their outstanding contribution to God and to the Catholic Church.”

Its criteria for judging is based on the late Pope John Paul II’s Ethics in Media and includes: love for God; love for truth; respect for environment; promotion of positive Filipino values; and love for family and life.

The 32nd CMMA was held last night, October 13, at the UST Medicine Auditorium.
