Bringing Back the Days of the Wild West in 'Deadwood!'

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of HBOseries. All opinions are 100% mine.

Since High School, I really love our World History subject. It really gives me the idea of how the world looks like on the days that I didn't yet born! And one of the era I love most in World History is the so-called Wild West!

In 2004 when I switched our cable channel in HBO, I'm glad that I saw a US TV series that truly depicts the old wild west! And this is a TV series called "Deadwood" that really made me hooked!

Yup, "Deadwood" is an American Western TV series set in 1870's. As the title suggest, the story revolves around the place called Deadwood in South Dakota. The story happened before and after the area's annexation by the Dakota Territory.

The story of it revolves around the different persons and characters of Deadwood. It depicts how the place surrounded and conquered by crimes and corruption! The series even showed how the place grows from camp to town then to a community which later becomes the center of capitalism! Afterwards, it was later known as "a hell of the place to make your fortune"!

The characters of it were composed of historical and fictional figures! Some of these were Seth Bullock, Al Swearengen, Wild Bill Hickok, Sol Star, Calamity Jane, Wyatt Earp, E. B. Farnum, Charlie Utter and George Hearst. Of course though its fully fictional, the story really shows a touch of truth and history!

This said TV series ran in HBO from March 21, 2004, to August 27, 2006, spanning three 12-episode seasons! It indeed captures the attention of many specially the people in the government!

Because "Deadwood" is somewhat applicable to the events happenings in our present government, people were wanting to watch it over and over again. But it's already 5 years ago since it ended on TV. And the channel didn't set for its replay!

Thanks that the Amazon.com will offer a so-called phenomenal Gold Box deal this February 3, 2011 that will allow the customers and viewers to buy the entire Deadwood seasons at a great, great, great discount! Imagine from its pilot episode until its explosive finale, you will grab them at a glance with a discount! The said great deal will only be available on 2/3/2011 so grab your chance before its too late

Deadwood series indeed reflects one of the situation in America. It's such a part of history that teaches a lesson in the modern generation! Hope that we can fully dissect the idea it gave to all of us! c",)
