"The Protègè" is the newest artista search reality show of the Kapuso network which will air very soon! And the main host of the said TV program is no other than their top Kapuso hunk actor Mr. Dingdong Dantes!"The Protègè" is said to replace the hit phenomenal reality show of GMA-7 called "Starstruck". The said TV program already reached its fifth edition. And from the first up to "Starstruck V", Dingdong Dantes hosted the show. And since Dingdong debuted as a successful host of the said artista search, the management of the Kapuso once more gives the chance to him!
"The Protègè" is very different from "Starstruck" though they were both reality artista search. "The Protègè" is inspired by the American talent search "The Voice" which features popular celebrities as coaches and they will mentor their chosen contestants to vie for the title.
This said newest reality show is set to start on the fourth quarter of the year. Or sooner depending on the needs!
