Hunk Actors Zanjoe Marudo and Carlo Romero Play Lovers in 'Bromance!'




Kapamilya hunk actors Zanjoe Marudo and Carlo Romero portray lovers in the upcoming Star Cinema comedy flick, "Bromance: My Brother's Romance!"

In the movie, Zanjoe plays a dual role with opposing characters - one is a straight hunky man Brando while the other is an out gay designer Brandy. Carlo will be the love interest of Brandy.

Carlo is a product of the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother." He is one of the ex-housemates of the season 4 dubbed as "PBB Unlimited" joining Paco Evangelista, Pamu Pamorada, Divine,  and the big winner Slater Young. Carlo already appeared in the different Kapamilya TV series like "A Beautiful Affair" playing Bea Alonzo's boyfriend. And he is seen is different TV commercials. He is introduced in this movie!




During the grand presscon of the said movie which took place in Dolce Latte in Quezon Avenue, Carlo and Zanjoe shared how challenging their characters as lovers. 

For Zanjoe, this is not his first time to portray a gay character since he played the said role before in "Banana Split" and in the movie "24/7 in Love." But this movie is quite different since he has kissing and intimate scenes with Carlo!        

Carlo on the other hand expressed his excitement playing the role. According to him, it doesn't matter playing such character since it's all about acting! Playing a lover to another man or man-to-man relationship is now a trend in different indie movies.         




The box-office director Direk Wenn V. Deramas further revealed the characters of Zanjoe and Carlo. Their affair is the usual or the traditional one - a straight man who is only using the gay as his benefactor! But definitely, expect for more exciting twists between them! 

Hmmm... do you think Carlo and Zanjoe will have a bed scene in the movie?! Well, let's find out! 

Aside from Carlo and Zanjoe, the movie also stars Manuel Chua, Joey Paraz, Lassy, Arlene Muchlach, Boom Labrusca, Nikki Valdez, and Cristine Reyes!
