The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) conducted the grand presscon of the 2013 Manila Film Festival (MMFF) New Wave Films in Sequioa Hotel, cor. Mother Ignacia St., Quezon City, December 5, 2013.
The event was attended by the prominent people behind the project like the MMDA Chairman Atty. Francis Reyes, International Director Brillante Mendoza, TV Reporters Ogie Diaz, Mario Dumaual, and Lars Santiago, and veteran actress Ms. Boots Anzon-Roa.
Movie directors of the film entries were also present namely Alemberg Ang, Gino M. Santos, and Paul Soriano. And of course some of the lead stars of the movie entries like Louise Delos Reyes, Baron Geisler, Jay Gonzaga, Carlo Cruz, Biboy Ramirez, and Ejay Falcon.

As I have mentioned on my previous post, the movies in this section will be shown in two giant malls - SM Megamall and Glorietta 4 Cinemas from December 19 to 24 for only Php100.\
