The recently held Trade Launch of ABS-CBN announced the upcoming new TV series and TV shows of the network. And one of these will be the Philippine adaptation of Thalia's hit telenovela, "Maria La Del Barrio"!And the lucky girl who was chosen to play the character of Pinay Maria La Del Barrio is no other than...Ms. Erich Gonzales!
Yup, Erich Gonzales will portray our very own "Maria La Del Barrio" and her leading man is either again Enchong Dee or they will look for a new one! This remake is said to air early this coming 2011!
We may recall that "Maria La Del Barrio" is one of the hit Mexiconovela of Thalia. This was aired in RPN-9 from 1996-1997. Yup, this was aired right after her first phenomenal hit "Marimar" in the same station! This was also from Televisa network, the same broadcasting company that gave us "Rubi".In 2002-2003, GMA-7 replayed "Maria La Del Barrio" in their 11'oclock morning block! This was the time that the Kapuso network made replays of different Thalia's telenovela like "Marimar", "Rosalinda", and "Maria La Del Barrio"!
Now in 2011 we will once again see the beautiful story of "Maria La Del Barrio" played by the beautiful drama princess Ms. Erich Gonzales! If we loved the original Mexican "Maria La Del Barrio" before, definitely, we will also love this new generation's "Maria La Del Barrio" knowing Erich Gonzales who is effective in portraying different roles and knowing ABS-CBN which is also effective in bringing us excellent TV series adaptations!
This will be the fourth Primetime TV series of Erich Gonzales after "Katorse", "Tanging Yaman", and "Magkaribal"! And if Enchong will also be chosen to play as Luis Fernando, Maria's love interest, then these could be the fourth teleserye of 'Enrich' or the Enchong-Erich loveteam!
Are you excited for this new TV series remake? Do you want Erich Gonzales to portray our Pinay "Maria La Del Barrio"?! Is she perfect and fitted for the role?! If not, who would you suggest?!

hi there is me again carlo my comment of the new tv series like maria ladel barrio is very beatiful at the part of erich she can do it but in term in local version of luis fernando is not very seem fit for encho dee perhave this story is very not good for him i thinks they much choices ejay falcon or piolo pascual is very bagay for them but in terms for singing for the story is seem that sarah geronimo is better than enrich for the role of maria because the story is very cutes and everybody is singing in the story but if they choices sarah she will very good potrayes for the role but if they want enrich who iam to just her but as soon the they showing the story they much good than like other networks marimar version is not perfect and rosalinda is not good for carla a well maybe enrich is the perfect choices for the role of thalia but ilike sarah for the role and piolo as luis fernando ty for now

Another teleserye para kay ERICH.. She deserves to be on that role.. bagay sa kanya maging MARIA LA DEL BARRIO.. Matteo and Enchong are good actor.. Kahit sino sa kanila ok maging leading man ni Erich.. Pero ako papipiliin, i'll go for ENCHONG! Mas kilig ang love team nila.. dami humahanga sa kanila.. proven and tested! keep it up Erich Gonzales! ReplyDeletemas like ko si Enchong kasi di ba nga sabi nila sanay na daw sila sa isa't-isa, so bakit pa itatambal si Erich sa iba eh di maninibago siya pati baka mahirapan pa. So, I go for Enchong Dee. They are perfect couple.
